Funny weird book covers

So a while back, I did a blog post on Weird Vinyl album covers. And it was for me one of the most entertaining posts I have ever done. The artwork and photography on some of the albums I picked made me scratch my head, and then almost fall out of my seat laughing! Yes I almost fell out of my seat, I amuse easily… So I said to myself, “hey I love books too!” why not do one on Funny book covers! And yes I do sit around asking myself these kinds of questions, sometimes I have a lot of time on my hands..

So here’s my list of ten. Its surprising, some of these guys are great writers…

First up, “What’s your poo telling you?”

I have heard of people who like to play with their poo. People that like to be poo’d on, but never people who have asked their poo a question, and then there poo answered them. Sorry its a new one for me..

There is also a sequel to this book called “What is my pee telling me” if your into talking to your urine….. Hey who am I to judge. What you do in your bathroom is none of my business. But you can get that one “What’s My Pee Telling Me?here as well.

No judgement here! But I would keep it to yourself. Telling a co-worker or spouse you talk to your pee or poo could get you put in a mental facility. And for crying out load don’t post your conversations on Facebook!

What is “Push Pop Press?”

Well its an ipad book maker. And the social media site we all know and love bought it on Tuesday for an undisclosed amount, which made people think, is Facebook trying to get into the publishing business now. I don’t think it would be a bad thing. I think there are many self publishing authors out there who would be happy to jump on the facebook band wagon. Just think, you would be able to advertise your book on Facebook, without having to do all the leg work.

Lets face it. It really is just a response to Google’s ebookstore, and total world domination! It’s only a matter of time before Google and Facebook merge and become “Skynet” and kill all of us humans! Ok maybe I’m going a bit over board…..

Is this a good or bad thing? What is your take?

Who doesn’t like a good story? Your whole life is a story. I never understood when people say they dont read. If you watch TV technically your watching a book, yes a very short book called a screen play, but a story and a book none the less. I always hear people say they don’t have time to read, but then they run home to watch Dancing with the Stars, or American Idol, which happens to be a story. Just one that is getting written in real time. So I say put down the remote for a second and crack open a book! Or turn on a Kindle or e-reader, or Nook, what ever your preference, reading is thinking, no matter how you do it. And thinking is something everyone could use now a days.
